iTok Privacy Policy
Welcome to the iTok app (the “App”), developed by 麦加围 (jiawei mai, the “Developer”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data-protection laws. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information related to you.
1. How We Handle Your Data
- The App reads and displays photos and videos from your device’s Photos library locally, for browsing and organizing. Library content is hosted by iOS Photos and, if enabled, iCloud Photos. The Developer does not upload your library content to Developer-operated servers, and does not use it for advertising, analytics, or sale to third parties.
- If a photo includes location data, coordinates may be sent by the system to Apple Maps / geocoding services to show place names or map previews. That process is handled by the system and Apple; the Developer does not operate a separate location server.
- You can add photos or videos to Favorites or custom albums. Those writes are performed by the on-device Photos framework and may sync under your Apple ID via iCloud Photos (if enabled). They do not pass through Developer servers.
- The App may store preferences, browse progress, recycle-bin records, and size caches on your device to provide features. This data stays on the device by default.
- The App does not require an account, does not actively collect unique device identifiers for tracking, and does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
2. Photo Access and Deletion
- To browse and organize, the App requests Photos library access. You can revoke permission in system Settings at any time; related features will then be unavailable.
- Items you delete in the App first go to an in-app recycle bin. Emptying the bin or permanently deleting items asks the system to remove the originals from Photos. This cannot be undone—please confirm carefully.
3. Purchases and Subscriptions
- Membership purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store / StoreKit. Payment methods, billing, and subscription status are handled by Apple. The Developer does not collect or store your card or other payment details. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles related data.
4. Sharing of Information
- Except as required by law, or as needed for system features provided by Apple (such as Maps / geocoding and App Store transactions described above), we do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties.
5. Children
- The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. If you are a guardian and believe a minor has used the App inappropriately, contact us at the email below.
6. Policy Updates
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will try to notify you in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use means you acknowledge the updated policy.
